Mental Elf 2024
Our annual Mental Elf family fun run will return to Belfairs Wood for 2024!
Get ready to dust off that Elfy fancy dress and raise vital funds for local mental health services this Christmas. Take part in a 5K(ish) trail around the woodlands and enjoy a well deserved medal and mince pie at the finish line. All ages, abilities, families and dogs are welcome!
**DISCOUNTED EAGER ELF TICKETS ON SALE UNTIL THURS 31 OCTOBER **
(Full price tickets will continue to be available online until Fri 29 Nov and available to buy in-person on event day)
All funds raised will go to our charity to help us continue to raise mental health awareness in the community and keep our vital local mental health services running.
Registration will open from 10am with the race starting at approx. 10.30am

‘Go Blue’ fundraiser for Mental Health Awareness Week
Join South East and Central Essex Mind in showing our community that mental health matters. This year, we’re asking our supporters to donate to our charity and going blue for the day during May to help mark Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s MHAW is running during 13-19 May, but you can take part at any point during the month.
Going blue can be as simple as wearing a blue tshirt, or as big as decorating your building! This fundraiser is open to anyone and you can take part from any location. Take part as a school, a workplace or as an individual.

Leigh Pop Up Christmas Craft Market
We are taking part in this year’s Leigh Pop Up Christmas Artisan Craft Market!
Residents of our Support Housing facility have been enjoying taking part in art and craft sessions as part of their recovery. Many of these items will be available at our stall at the fair and all sales will help towards funding materials for future craft activities.
We will be at the fair on both the Saturday and Sunday 12-4pm.
‘Wear It Blue’ fundraiser for World Mental Health Day
This World Mental Health Day, join South East and Central Essex Mind in showing our community that mental health matters. This year, we’re asking our supporters to donate to our charity and wear blue for the day during October to help mark World Mental Health Day on Tuesday 10 October.
Wearing blue can be as simple as wearing blue socks, or a blue t-shirt. This fundraiser is open to anyone and you can take part wherever you are on the day.

Essex Pride 2023
Come to the biggest LGBTQ+ community celebration in Essex!
We will be teaming up with the other local minds in the area to raise awareness of the local charities covering the Essex areas and the services available.

London Winter Walk - Ultra Challenge
A great event to kick start your New Year!
There are Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K options, both starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 January. Take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s key landmarks.
