‘Go Blue’ fundraiser for Mental Health Awareness Week
Join South East and Central Essex Mind in showing our community that mental health matters. This year, we’re asking our supporters to donate to our charity and going blue for the day during May to help mark Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s MHAW is running during 13-19 May, but you can take part at any point during the month.
Going blue can be as simple as wearing a blue tshirt, or as big as decorating your building! This fundraiser is open to anyone and you can take part from any location. Take part as a school, a workplace or as an individual.

Stress Awareness Month
It is Stress Awareness Month throughout April.
Stress Awareness Month has been held every April, since 1992 to increase public awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic. Many aspects of life can cause stress, but this year, we’ll be sharing tips and coping strategies to help you manage your mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Uni Mental Health Day
University Mental Health Day is the biggest day of the year for student mental health, bringing the nation together to make mental health a university-wide priority. The aim is to create ongoing change to the future of student mental health.

Southend Winter Pride
We’ll be at this year’s Winter Pride supporting Southend Pride and the LGBTQ+ community.
Children’s Mental Health Week
Children's Mental Health Week is taking place on 5-11 February 2024. This year's theme is Express Yourself. Express Yourself is about allowing children and young people to let their voices be heard and express how they feel in a way they want to.

Time To Talk Day
Time to Talk Day is an annual awareness day held at the beginning of February. It’s a day for us all to start a conversation about mental health. Talking about mental health isn't easy. But a conversation has the power to change lives.
Time to Talk Day is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, in partnership with the Co-op.
World Mental Health Day
The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilise efforts in support of mental health.

Wearing blue can be as simple as wearing blue socks, or a blue t-shirt. This fundraiser is open to anyone and you can take part wherever you are on the day.
